Rollo completo de noble elegancia (Siete Sabios del bosque de bambú 36x137) Seda 45.8x168.7
Imagine a Tang Dynasty VIP lounge, but instead of a club, it's a serene garden where the coolest intellectuals of the time hang out. This scroll by Sun Wei captures four of the legendary 'Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove'—rebellious poets and musicians who famously ditched stiff court life for wine, music, and nature in the 3rd century. Notice how each figure has a distinct vibe, sitting on elaborate mats with servants attending to them; it's like a snapshot of ancient hipsters enjoying the high life. Although it's just a fragment of the original long scroll, the colors on the silk remain surprisingly vibrant over a thousand years later.
