Adolph Treidler

Adolph Treidler fue un artista estadounidense conocido por sus ilustraciones, carteles, arte comercial y carteles de propaganda bélica. Sus portadas de revistas y trabajos publicitarios aparecieron en McClure's, Harper's, el Saturday Evening Post, Collier's, Century, Scribner's y el Woman's Home Companion. Creó anuncios para el automóvil Pierce Arrow y para la French Line. Su trabajo publicitario en la década de 1930 para la Bermuda Board of Trade fue fundamental para promover el turismo en Bermudas. Fue presidente del Artist's Guild desde 1936 hasta 1937. Sus carteles de propaganda bélica durante la Primera Guerra Mundial representaban a mujeres trabajadoras en fábricas de municiones para la Campaña de Apoyo a la Guerra de Estados Unidos. También creó carteles de propaganda bélica durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Fue presidente del Comité de Publicidad Pictórica de la Society of Illustrators, y "produjo al menos cinco carteles promocionando a las Women Ordnance Workers, también conocidas como WOWs." Treidler fue miembro del Art Directors' Club, de la Society of Illustrators, miembro fundador del Artists' Guild y miembro vitalicio de la Society of Illustrators. Expuso en el Whitney Museum de Nueva York en 1923 y en el Art Institute of Chicago en 1930.
