Segui Eric Rohman è nato a Nyköping ed è cresciuto a Helsingborg. Era una delle pochissime persone in Svezia a poter guadagnarsi da vivere producendo solo manifesti. Secondo la sua stessa stima, ha prodotto circa 7.000 opere. Il fratello di Rohman era il direttore di una delle grandi catene di cinema e la richiesta di manifesti era elevata. Rohman lavorava generalmente con pochi colori e non dedicava molto tempo ai dettagli; aveva una grande capacità di individuare rapidamente l'essenziale.
