歐仁·拉米
描繪時尚巴黎與軍事場景
歐仁·路易·拉米是一位法國畫家、水彩畫家、石版畫家、插圖畫家和設計師。他是七月王朝與法蘭西第二帝國時期巴黎時尚生活的畫家，同時也創作歷史畫作，並為《吉爾·布拉斯》與《曼儂·萊斯科》等書籍繪製插圖。 他曾於霍勒斯·韋爾內的工作室工作，之後在巴黎美術學院師從安托萬-讓·格羅學習，與卡米爾·羅克普蘭和保羅·德拉羅什一同學習。在那裡，他向理查德·帕克斯·博寧頓學習了水彩技法，後來成為法國水彩畫家協會的創始成員。 拉米開始從事石版畫創作，並於1819年製作了一套40幅描繪西班牙騎兵的石版畫。這些作品，加上他與韋爾內合作完成的大型石版畫集《1791年至1814年法國軍隊制服集》，幫助他建立了擅長軍事題材的聲譽，這種聲譽也延續到了他的繪畫作品中。他於1829年創作的英格蘭國王查理一世被押往卡里斯布魯克城堡囚禁時的肖像，被法國國王路易-菲利普購得，並於1848年至1969年間在法國國民議會公開展出。 今天，這幅作品與他1840年創作的《在杜樂麗宮花園中的奧爾良公爵夫人路易絲·瑪麗·阿黛拉伊德·德·波旁-潘提埃夫爾》一同收藏於羅浮宮。拉米描繪1815年1月26日美國戰勝英國的新奧爾良戰役場景的畫作，現藏於新奧爾良卡比爾多的路易斯安那州立博物館。他也繪製了約克鎮圍城戰期間攻佔第10號稜堡的場景。
