Florence Harrison

Florence Susan Harrison era un'illustratrice inglese australiana di poesia e libri per bambini in stile Art Nouveau e preraffaellita. Molti dei suoi libri furono pubblicati da Blackie and Son. Illustrò libri di noti poeti del circolo preraffaellita come Christina Rossetti, William Morris e Sir Alfred Tennyson. Florence Harrison è nata nel 1877 a Brisbane, Australia, da Lucy e Norwood Harrison. Dal 1922, visse nell'area di Londra. Intorno al 1940 si trasferì a Brighton, in Inghilterra, per vivere con sua cugina Isobel. Rimase lì fino alla sua morte nel 1955.
