Francesco Curia fue un pintor italiano del periodo renacentista, activo principalmente en su ciudad natal de Nápoles. Era hijo del pintor Michele Curia. Fue alumno del pintor Giovanni Filippo Criscuolo. Entre sus alumnos se encontraban Fabrizio Santafede e Ippolito Borghese. Fue uno de los varios artistas que residían en Nápoles y que fueron influenciados por el estilo de Giorgio Vasari.
