弗朗索瓦-约瑟夫·纳韦
比利时新古典主义肖像画家
弗朗索瓦-约瑟夫·纳韦斯是一位比利时新古典主义画家。 Navez 出生于沙勒罗瓦。他是雅克-路易·大卫的学生。1817 年至 1822 年间，他在意大利度过了五年。1835 年至 1862 年间，他担任布鲁塞尔皇家美术学院的院长。 他是一位非常成功的肖像画家。他还画了许多神话和历史题材的作品。 东方主义画家让-弗朗索瓦·波塔尔斯是他的学生（也是女婿）。 让·卡罗卢斯，这位描绘风俗场景和室内画的比利时画家，是弗朗索瓦-约瑟夫·纳韦斯的门生。 Navez于1826年被选为荷兰皇家研究院的四级成员，1841年成为编外准会员，并于1851年辞职。他于1869年在布鲁塞尔去世。
