弗朗索瓦-約瑟夫·納韋
比利時新古典主義肖像畫家
弗朗索瓦-約瑟夫·納韋斯是一位比利時新古典主義畫家。 Navez 出生於沙勒羅瓦。他是雅克-路易·大衛的學生。1817 年至 1822 年間，他在義大利度過了五年。1835 年至 1862 年間，他擔任布魯塞爾皇家美術學院的院長。 他是一位非常成功的肖像畫家。他還畫了許多神話和歷史題材的作品。 東方主義畫家讓-弗朗索瓦·波塔爾斯是他的學生（也是女婿）。 讓·卡羅盧斯，這位描繪風俗場景和室內畫的比利時畫家，是弗朗索瓦-約瑟夫·納韋斯的門生。 Navez於1826年被選為荷蘭皇家研究院的四級成員，1841年成為編外準會員，並於1851年辭職。他於1869年在布魯塞爾去世。
