弗朗茨·普福爾
拿撒勒派尋求靈性藝術
法蘭茲·普福爾是德國拿撒勒畫派的畫家。 他出生於法蘭克福美因河畔。他最早接受來自其父親——畫家約翰·格奧爾格·普福爾（1745–98）及其叔叔——藝術教授兼卡塞爾繪畫畫廊首任督察約翰·海因里希·蒂斯拜因（小）（1742–1808）的訓練。在維也納美術學院學習期間，普福爾於1810年與其他學生一同遷居羅馬，其中包括約翰·弗里德里希·奧弗貝克、路德維希·福格爾和約翰·康拉德·霍廷格。為了在藝術中尋回失落的靈性，他們居住在聖伊西多羅阿卡波萊卡塞廢棄修道院。 普福爾未能活著看到自己的藝術得到認可。他因肺結核在羅馬阿爾巴諾拉齊亞萊去世，年僅24歲。
