프란츠 크사버 페터
비더마이어 꽃 정물 대가
프란츠 크사버 안드레아스 페터는 오스트리아의 예술가였습니다. 페터는 리히텐탈에서 태어났으며, 그의 아버지는 도자기 화가였고 그가 같은 직업을 이어받기를 원했지만, 페터는 유화에 관심을 갖게 되었습니다. 그는 빈 미술 아카데미에서 요한 바프티스트 드렉슬러에게 사사했습니다. 프란츠 크사버 페터는 빈의 비더마이어 시대에 가장 중요한 정물 화가 중 한 명이었습니다. 그는 꽃 배열을 전문으로 했으며, 나중에는 과일 배열과 꽃이 있는 풍경화를 그려 네덜란드 황금기 꽃 정물화의 묘사 전통을 이어갔습니다. 페터의 그림은 오스트리아 귀족들 사이에서 매우 인기가 있었습니다. 페터는 캐서린 함베크(1793-1858)와 결혼했습니다. 그들 사이에는 두 아들이 있었는데, 시어도어는 예술가가 되었고 구스타프는 음악가였습니다. 프란츠 크사버 페터는 1866년 5월 빈에서 사망했습니다.
