庚斯博罗·杜邦
模仿舅父肖像风景画风
盖恩斯伯勒·杜邦是一位英国艺术家，是皇家艺术研究院院士托马斯·盖恩斯伯勒的侄子和学生。 杜邦于1754年12月20日出生在萨福克郡的萨德伯里，是托马斯·庚斯博罗的姐姐莎拉及其丈夫菲利普·杜邦的长子。1772年，他师从庚斯博罗，并一直为其工作直到后者于1788年去世。他是已知庚斯博罗雇佣过的唯一助手。他还在皇家艺术学院学校接受过培训，于1775年3月成为该校学生。 1788年，杜邦接管了位于肖姆伯格宅邸的庚斯博罗画室，并于1793年庚斯博罗遗孀去世后迁至布鲁姆斯伯里。他绘制肖像画和风景画，风格与其舅父相似，同时也创作带有建筑废墟的风景画，模仿尼古拉·普桑的风格。他的主要作品是一幅包含三一议院资深成员肖像的大型画作，现藏于塔丘该机构的法庭内。
