庚斯博羅·杜邦
模仿舅父肖像風景畫風
蓋恩斯伯勒·杜邦是一位英國藝術家，是皇家藝術研究院院士托馬斯·蓋恩斯伯勒的侄子和學生。 杜邦於1754年12月20日出生在薩福克郡的薩德伯里，是托馬斯·庚斯博羅的姐姐莎拉及其丈夫菲利普·杜邦的長子。1772年，他師從庚斯博羅，並一直為其工作直到後者於1788年去世。他是已知庚斯博羅僱傭過的唯一助手。他還在皇家藝術學院學校接受過培訓，於1775年3月成為該校學生。 1788年，杜邦接管了位於肖姆伯格宅邸的庚斯博羅畫室，並於1793年庚斯博羅遺孀去世後遷至布魯姆斯伯里。他繪製肖像畫和風景畫，風格與其舅父相似，同時也創作帶有建築廢墟的風景畫，模仿尼古拉·普桑的風格。他的主要作品是一幅包含三一院資深成員肖像的大型畫作，現藏於塔丘該機構的法庭內。
