Giuseppe Passeri
Peintre baroque romain, élève de Maratta
Giuseppe Passeri était un peintre italien de la période baroque, actif dans sa ville natale de Rome. Born the nephew of the painter Giovanni Battista Passeri, Giuseppe trained in the studio of Carlo Maratta. Among the paintings by Giuseppe is St. Peter baptizes the Centurion, transferred to mosaic; the original was moved to a church of the Conventuali in Urbino. Passeri a peint la deuxième chapelle à droite dans l'église Santa Caterina a Magnanapoli en fresque de 1700 à 1703. Dans la même église, il a également réalisé les tableaux d'autel Les Trois Archanges et La Vierge du Rosaire.
