Giuseppe Passeri
Pittore barocco romano, allievo di Maratta
Giuseppe Passeri fu un pittore italiano del periodo barocco, attivo nella sua città natale di Roma. Born the nephew of the painter Giovanni Battista Passeri, Giuseppe trained in the studio of Carlo Maratta. Among the paintings by Giuseppe is St. Peter baptizes the Centurion, transferred to mosaic; the original was moved to a church of the Conventuali in Urbino. Passeri dipinse ad affresco la seconda cappella a destra nella chiesa di Santa Caterina a Magnanapoli dal 1700 al 1703. Nella stessa chiesa, realizzò anche le pale d'altare I Tre Arcangeli e la Madonna del Rosario.
