Hans Baldung, llamado Hans Baldung Grien (un apodo temprano debido a su predilección por el color verde), fue un artista de la pintura y el grabado, grabador, dibujante y artista de vidrieras, considerado el alumno más dotado de Albrecht Dürer, cuyo arte pertenece tanto al Renacimiento alemán como al manierismo.
