Your Talk May Kill Your Comrades
Abram Games designed this striking British WWII propaganda poster to warn soldiers about the deadly dangers of loose talk. A giant, shadowy soldier's head dominates the top, shouting out concentric rings of sound that transform into a lethal red arrow. This projectile curves downward to literally impale three smaller, silhouetted comrades, making the consequences of careless gossip brutally and visually clear. Games was a master of bold, modernist design, and this piece remains one of the most powerful visual warnings of the war era.
