I’m Looking for You – Fever – Malaria
This bold WWII poster by Abram Games turns a tiny mosquito into a looming nightmare. The insect's wings are stamped with 'FEVER' and 'MALARIA,' while its red antennae cleverly form the 'Y' in the phrase 'I'M LOOKING FOR YOU,' staring directly at the viewer. Designed to keep troops healthy in tropical zones, the bottom text guilt-trips soldiers into using repellent for the sake of their 'comrades' and 'efficiency.' It’s a brilliant piece of graphic design where typography and illustration merge to deliver a life-saving message.
