Ducks in Flight
Edgar Hunt captures the chaotic beauty of a marsh at dusk, where a flock of mallards is caught in various stages of action. Some glide gracefully through the pink-hued sky, while others splash down into the reedy water, their wings spread wide in a flurry of motion. As a master of British wildlife realism, Hunt was famous for his incredibly accurate depictions of birds in their natural habitats, making this piece a perfect snapshot of nature's daily rhythm. You can almost hear the flapping wings and splashing water just by looking at the scene!
