Planície com montanha despida
Ernst Schiess captures a massive, dark mountain ridge looming over a vibrant plain in this striking landscape. Using thick, sweeping brushstrokes typical of Post-Impressionism, he makes the sky and grass look like they're moving in a strong wind. He isn't trying to paint a perfect photo; instead, those rough, visible strokes in the foreground—perhaps wildflowers or just shadows—give the scene a wonderful, raw energy. It feels less like a finished masterpiece and more like a passionate, quick sketch of a windy day in the mountains.
