Scroll of Misty Mountains at Autumn Dawn - Painting Core 2
Fan Kuan captures the serene beauty of a misty autumn morning, where towering cliffs rise dramatically from the landscape. Tiny pavilions and temples are tucked into the rocky crevices like secret hideaways, while reddish trees signal the crisp fall air. A calm river winds through the valley, inviting the viewer's eye to wander through this peaceful, imaginary world. Designed as a handscroll, this masterpiece was meant to be unrolled slowly from right to left, revealing the scenery bit by bit like a visual journey.
