Standing Female Nude
Most people know Gustav Klimt for his dazzling, gold-leafed masterpieces, but he was also a relentless sketcher who filled countless notebooks with intimate studies of the human body. In this delicate drawing, a female figure stands with a relaxed, almost dreamy posture, one arm raised behind her head. The soft, flowing lines strip away the ornate decoration of his famous paintings, revealing a raw and private side of the artist's process. These sketches were often kept hidden during his lifetime, offering a rare, unfiltered glimpse into his studio practice.
