Most people know Joseph Sudek as the 'Poet of Prague,' famous for his moody, atmospheric photographs of the city, but this precise design sketch reveals his talent for applied arts. The drawing details an elegant white teapot with delicate gold accents and a mysterious blue scenic motif, complete with scale measurements (1/2 and 1/4) and specific dimensions. It looks like a working blueprint for a ceramic manufacturer, turning a simple doodle into a serious plan for production. It’s a fascinating glimpse into the meticulous mind of an artist who usually captured the world through a camera lens.
