Accordionist in a Sleigh
Konstantin Korovin, a Russian Impressionist who loved the vibrant energy of folk life, captures a joyous winter ride here. A troika of horses pulls a sleigh through a snowy village, with a passenger playing an accordion to entertain the crowd. The artist uses loose, energetic brushstrokes to make the snow shimmer under a sky of soft pinks and yellows, turning a cold day into a warm, musical celebration. You can almost hear the horses' hooves and the squeeze of the accordion in this bustling scene.
