冷たい都市
1921
Paul Klee built this geometric metropolis in 1921, creating a 'Cold City' that feels more like a quiet, snowy dream than a bustling urban center. Instead of realistic buildings, he used a jumble of triangles and rectangles in muted browns, creams, and ghostly whites, all huddled under a dark sky dotted with strange, overlapping moons. As a teacher at the famous Bauhaus school, Klee loved treating art like architecture, constructing these little worlds from simple shapes. It’s a perfect example of Expressionism, where the feeling of the cold is more important than the actual temperature.
