加布里埃尔肖像
Meet Gabrielle Renard, the woman who was much more than just a model for Pierre-Auguste Renoir—she was actually the family nanny! Hired when she was just a teenager, she became a central figure in his Impressionist world, appearing in over a hundred of his paintings. Here, Renoir captures her with his signature soft, feathery brushstrokes and warm, rosy skin tones, highlighting the robust, earthy beauty he adored in his later years. You can almost feel the warmth of the light on her shoulder as she gazes back with a calm, steady look.
