元代书法典雅具晋韵
邓文原（1258-1328），字善之，号匪石，别称素履先生。他是绵州（今四川绵阳）人，后迁居浙江杭州。因绵州古属巴西郡，人们也称邓文原为"邓巴西"。他是中国元代的书法家。 邓文原自幼精通《春秋》。他曾任杭州路儒学教授、江浙儒学提举、国子监丞。至治三年（1323年），被召为翰林学士，兼国子监祭酒。泰定二年（1325年），任翰林侍讲学士。天历元年（1328年）去世，享年七十一岁。 邓文原擅长书法，与赵孟頫齐名。其字迹精雅，诗歌简古而光辉。早年，他在楷书、行书和草书方面师法王羲之与王献之，后又向李邕学习。评论家称其书法具有晋代艺术家的神韵，但略显粗犷。 He practiced the 'Ji Jiu Zhang' with ease and energetic strokes. His running script showed traces of Zhao Mengfu’s influence. Existing works include 'Copy of Ji Jiu Zhang,' 'Letters to Benzhai,' and 'Visit Letter with Staff.' The 'Copy of Ji Jiu Zhang' was written in the third year of Dade (1299) on paper in cursive script, with skillful, sharp, and spirited strokes, making it a well-known piece that has been passed down through generations.
