Paisaje urbano
Konstantin Korovin captures the electric pulse of a rainy city night, evoking the Parisian streets he loved so much. The wet pavement acts like a shimmering mirror, doubling the glow of the floating streetlamps and the headlights of those early, boxy automobiles. A massive, dark tower looms over the scene, anchoring the composition while the sky above swirls in deep, moody teals and greens. It’s a vibrant example of Russian Impressionism, trading sharp architectural details for the sheer, atmospheric feeling of a damp, bustling evening.
