Parigi in inverno by Konstantin Alexeevich Korovin

Konstantin Korovin captures the electric, chilly energy of a Parisian boulevard in this vibrant winter scene. Washed in cool blues and whites, the street is alive with the blur of bustling crowds and glowing yellow shop lights that pierce the twilight. You can almost feel the crisp air and hear the chatter of the city, with a bold 'PARIS' sign anchoring the left side. Korovin, a Russian Impressionist who eventually made Paris his home after the Russian Revolution, was famous for his love of light and color. He was actually a theater set designer first, which explains why his cityscapes feel so dramatic and stage-like!
