Scroll of the Six Patriarchs of Bodhidharma - Painting Core
Step into the rugged, misty world of Ming dynasty master Dai Jin, where the founders of Chan (Zen) Buddhism gather in a sprawling landscape. This long handscroll unfolds like a cinematic journey, showing the Six Patriarchs—starting with the legendary Bodhidharma—meditating, teaching, and wandering through twisted pine trees and rocky cliffs. Dai Jin, the founder of the Zhe School, used bold, expressive ink washes to bring these spiritual figures to life, blending human devotion with the wild power of nature.
