格闘する二裸体 by Michelangelo

Michelangelo sketched these two muscular figures wrestling with incredible energy, likely as a study for his massive (and never finished) fresco, the Battle of Cascina. Created around 1504, the drawing shows two men locked in a fierce grapple, their bodies straining with effort. He used rapid, expressive ink strokes to map out the complex anatomy, turning a simple study into a masterclass on movement. It was originally intended for a grand fresco celebrating a Florentine military victory, a project that was ultimately abandoned, leaving us with these brilliant, raw glimpses of his creative process.
