Airborne Forces
Abram Games, known as 'the poster man' of WWII, created this striking recruitment poster to lure soldiers into the elite Airborne Forces. Notice the dramatic, tilted perspective—it makes the soldier look like he's diving right out of the sky, Sten gun in hand, leading a massive drop of paratroopers and gliders. The bold, slanted typography screams action, while the iconic winged horse (Pegasus) logo in the corner seals the deal. It's a masterclass in making war look heroic and exciting through modernist design.
